When are the games played? Games are scheduled on Saturday and on occasional Sundays after 1pm. Reschedules are played on Monday or Wednesday evenings. Rainouts are managed on a case basis.
In which age group is my child? Brackets are determined by birthdays, not school grades. In other words, children are grouped by their ages as of July 31, not whether they are in first or second grade. This means that children in the same class at school could be in different age groups for soccer. When you register, the system recognizes your player's birthdate and places them in the correct age group. Players return to their previous team by default.
What uniform does my player wear? New U4/U5/U6 players are provided a FREE T-Shirt by the club and delivered at the Coaches Meeting. Shorts, socks, and required shin guards are available at Soccer USA. U7-U10 players must purchase the approved ESC Nike Club Uniform at Soccer USA. The official approved ESC Uniform consists of a Black/White Jersey set, Black shorts and team socks. (Each player must wear the same socks.)
What about team medals? U4/U5/U6 Coaches, at the coaches meeting, receive team medals to be awarded to their rostered players at the end of the season.

Is additional training for players available through ESC? ESC's Center of Excellence is designed to enhance the skills of the individual player. Children have the opportunity to work with coaches who are highly qualified in teaching the skills necessary to excel in soccer. The COE consists of eight one-hour practice sessions held at the Edmond complex during the recreational seasons. The COE is open to all recreational players regardless of ability. Information forms are available at registration and on the Center Of Excellence page on this site.
How do I apply for a scholarship? The Scholarship Program was developed to provide players and their families the opportunity to receive a scholarship from the club during times of financial difficulty. The program provides scholarship funds to help offset part of recreational registration fees, competitive registration fees, competitive training fees, and uniforms. This does not include any team fees, goalkeeper fees, tournament fees, or travel related costs. The scholarship funds are to be used solely for payment of the fees listed. Scholarships are based on need and availability of funds. ESC cannot function without the help of many volunteers. Scholarship recipients will be expected to volunteer a minimum of six hours during the soccer year. You may work your hours at any ESC hosted tournament. You will receive an email prior to each tournament requesting your assistance and allowing you to choose a time that fits your schedule.
Please send your scholarship request and registration form to the club Registrar, Pat Morgan in writing at 2510 Stonehenge Dr. Edmond, OK 73034. Click Here for a registration form.
