ESC IS YOUR CLUB!!!!
Who runs the Edmond Soccer Club? ESC is organized entirely by parents. As the parent of a child playing on an ESC team, you are entitled to vote for and serve on the board of directors. More information on the board of directors is available at ESC's Web site. As a not-for-profit organization, ESC is dependent upon volunteers such as you. ESC needs your help with fund raising, concession stands, and tournaments. Please volunteer by contacting the ESC administrator Parris Sanders at rosshalde@cox.net .
Where do I find out if games are cancelled because of rain? Log onto this website. the Status is posted on the 1st page, lower right. Also, you may enter your cellphone or email address to have a text message sent to you for last minute changes to complex status. Finally, you should check the club hotline, 348-BALL for updated closure information. When it looks like rain, please check with your coach. Confirm complex status with your opponents, especially if they are traveling some distance to play. Whenever the decision to close the complex has been made, the club hotline and website are updated ASAP.
Who takes team photos? Moto Photo is a sponsor of the Edmond Soccer Club. Moto Photo will schedule dates and times for taking team pictures. Coaches will be provided with the dates. All team photos taken at the ESC complex must be taken in the designated area. You may use a photographer of your choosing, but you must contact the Club to reserve the photo area. Commercial photographers are allowed to operate only in the photo area, not on the playing fields or the common areas.
In which age group is my child? Brackets are determined by birthdays, not school grades. In other words, children are grouped by their ages as of July 31, not whether they are in first or second grade. This means that children in the same class at school could be in different age groups for soccer.
