Keeper Training


ESC Goal Keeper Training

The Edmond Soccer Club provides goal keeper training for both recreational and academy players.  The sessions are free of charge.  The focus of the keeper training is improve the technical skills unique to the position, and to teach players a better understanding of their positional sense, as it relates to the game on the field.  Players that play keeper for their team are encouraged to attend these session.


Spring 2024 ESC Academy Goal Keeper Training

Academy teams that are playing 7v7 (2015s and some 2016s)

Academy teams that are playing 9v9 (2014s and some 2015s)

Only 1/2 Gks per team per week. Most teams will have an established GK by this point, but for the teams that are alternating between 1-2 players, both players should attend.

Academy GK Training will be on WEDNESDAYS, starting March 27th. 

6pm-7pm - 2016 boys/girls teams that are playing 7v7 ONLY

                         2015 boys/girls 3rd, 4th, 5th, etc teams

7pm-8pm - 2015 boys/girls 1st and 2nd teams

                         2014 boys/girls ALL teams

Academy GK will be held for 7 weeks. The last GK session will be on Wednesday, May 8th.

All GK sessions will be on Field 16.

Spring 2024 ESC Recreational Goal Keeper Training

Keeper Training for recreational Keepers will meet on Wednesdays for the spring of 2024

Start Date:  Wednesday, March 6th

No keeper training the week of spring break, March 20th.

End Date:  Wednesday, May 1. 

Time: 6:00  PM to 7:00 PM                U9 - U12 Boys and Girls   Field 16

             7:00  PM to 8:00  PM               U13- U19 Boys and Girls   Field 16
