ESC ORGANIZATION AND PURPOSE:

ESC is a non-profit organization formed in 1978 to promote soccer to the youth of Edmond and the Oklahoma City metropolitan area. ESC is organized and operated by parent volunteers. The parents of children playing soccer with ESC are members. Annually, the membership elects a board of directors consisting exclusively of parents. This board serves as steward for the club and manages the day-to-day operations.

ESC CLUB ACTIVITIES:

Conducts Fall and Spring seasons of play each year
Grooms and maintains 16-field soccer complex on Danforth, west of Kelly in Edmond
Hosts Summer Camps, Coaching Clinics, Parent Education meetings, and Referee Clinics
Hosts competitive, recreational, state and regional tournaments each year
Maintains an active website with over 25,000 hits per month
Maintains a positive relationship with the City of Edmond in improving the complex
Promotes the game of soccer in Oklahoma and beyond
Hosts Top Soccer events that benefit physically challenged children
Hosts an annual Golf Tournament to raise funds for player Scholarships
Hosts an annual Family Fun Day to benefit Recreational Soccer at ESC
Provides outreach opportunities to community partners
Provides community service opportunities to youth in crisis
