Mission Statement

ESC ORGANIZATION AND PURPOSE:

ESC is a non-profit organization formed in 1978 to promote soccer to the youth of Edmond and the Oklahoma City metropolitan area. ESC is organized and operated by parent volunteers. The parents of children playing soccer with ESC make up the membership of ESC. Annually, the membership elects a board of directors consisting exclusively of parents. This board serves as steward for the club and manages the day-to-day operations.

ESC CLUB ACTIVITIES:

Conduct Fall and Spring seasons of play each year
Maintain and upgrade the 13-field soccer complex on Danforth, west of Kelly in Edmond
Host Summer Camps, Coaching Clinics, Parent Education meetings, and Referee Clinics
Sponsor a minimum of two tournaments each year
Maintain of an active Website with over 25,000 hits per month
Maintain a working relationship with the City of Edmond in improving the complex
Promote the game of soccer in Oklahoma and beyond
Host Top Soccer events to benefit physically challenged children
Host an annual Golf Tournament to raise funds for player Scholarships
Host an annual Family Fun Day to benefit Recreational Soccer at ESC
Provide field usage to Edmond High Schools, local colleges, and adult soccer programs when possible
Provide outreach opportunities to community partners
Provide community service opportunities to youth in crisis
