About the League...

The Adult League is provided to the Edmond Community for leisure, team play, friendship, and healthy competition in a safe environment.

Communication - You should log onto your 'Player Account' at www.gotsoccer.com using your secure username and password. Be sure to update any missing information including correct email and texting address. We will send messages to you through these media. Rainout information will be distributed via the eSTATUS link on this website's homepage. Weekly messages are updated on our club Hotline 405 348-BALL.

At least 2 women must be on the field at all times.

One player on the field must be identified as the GK.

Players must be listed on the roster to be eligible to play. No additions are permitted for injuries, late arrivals, etc. Player interchange from one match to another is not permitted.

The team manager shall ensure that all players are on scene at least ten (10) minutes before a scheduled match. A team which cannot field six (6) players that includes a minimum of two (2) females at the scheduled start time will forfeit the match.

If no referee is present within ten (10) minutes of the scheduled start time, the match will be rescheduled unless both teams agree to proceed. If the match proceeds, the score shall stand as played without protest.

A score tied at the end of regulation time remains a tied score.

Half-Time should last no less than 5 minutes.

Bracket standings to determine 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place will be based on the 3-point system. [Win=3pts; Tie=1pt; Loss=0pts]

Total point ties will be resolved by the following tiebreakers in order: 1) Head to Head; 2) Goal Differential; 3) Most Wins.

All games shall be officiated by an assigned, US Soccer Federation certified and qualified referee who shall serve as timekeeper and scorekeeper. Referee decisions are final.

Shin guards are mandatory player equipment.

The season schedule will designate teams to wear either a white T-Shirt or a Dark T-Shirt during the match. The home team will wear white while the visitors wear dark.

The FIFA "Laws of the Game", adapted for small-sided games, will govern Adult League games. Misconduct will be handled with yellow and red cards, which will accrue and incur appropriate sit-outs for offending players and team point penalties to the offending team.

ESC will explore interest in a Mini-Camp on select Sunday afternoons. The camp will provide a safe and productive outlet for Adult League players. Small soccer clinics can be run while parents play for a nominal fee. Please let us know if this idea appeals to you.
